Instrument Repair
Most tools and equipment are available from the director to do minor repairs. However, it is recommended that your instrument receive the professional treatment of a repair specialist. The following are recommended repair shops in our area:
Musicians Brass and Woodwind (Band instrument Repair)
Cyndi Hall Music Studio (String Repair and Sales)
3537 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park, CA.
(by appointment only) 661- 212-8531.
Private lessons are given by a Private Professional Music Instructor who:
Is a working professional expert on the instrument your child plays.
Offers weekly music lessons, usually 30-45-60 minutes in length.
Gives your child the desirable advantage of increased “one-on-one” feedback, not available in the classroom.
Provides students with additional opportunities to participate in local recitals and contests.
Is able to fix “little” (and not so little) playing problems your child may encounter while working on the instrument.
Challenges your child with more difficult music and activities that are not generally available at school.
Helps your child become a better musician and player. Consequently, this extra help makes playing the musical instrument even more fun. In addition, it helps Anacapa's Music Department to grow!
